Debt Reduction Services - A Special Insert
Debt reduction services - coming to your town?
They're spreading like wildfire. Massive chain stores and warehouse-like outlets - debt reduction services the likes of which you have never seen before. Some say they suck the life out of small town America, tearing the fabric of communities apart. Wiping out the small, mom-and-pop debt reduction service that people have gone to for generations and replacing it with a massive concrete jungle. Let us be the first to come out and declare ourselves neutral on the subject. The Debt Reduction Herald supports the expansion of debt reduction services, to be sure, but we also seek to foster debate as to how franchised outlet stores adversely impact communities. By increasing general knowledge through our fine, unbiased publication, we will help our readers make a decision about these monstrous, wasteful debt reduction services for themselves.
What ever happened to the debt reduction services of yesteryear
You remember how it used to be. Well, come to think of it, you probably don't if you're under the age of 30. As a crotchety group of geezers, we'll tell you. Back in the day, Old Man Peavy's debt reduction services were the only game in town, and we liked it that way. He knew how debt reduction services ought to be run, and charged people a fair price for an invaluable service. You knew that with the Peavys, you were getting a whole lot more than credit card debt reduction - you were their friends. Even if they had never met you before! When you walked past the Peavy storefront on Oak Street, the old man and his wife would always extend a wave, even invite you in for coffee. Even when they weren't providing vital community service through their debt reduction services, the family business made its mark on the town - fostering kindness, integrity and respect for our fellow citizens.
That was then. KillaDebt - the biggest of the major franchised debt reduction services - is now.
After reportedly handing out bribes and lobbying heavily to influence the town zoning board, KillaDebt, Inc., opened its store a mile and a half from where Peavy's debt reduction services shop stood. The nice couple that citizens depended on for decades was gone within eight months. They had no chance of competing against a national chain the size of a small city, offering consumers rock bottom prices as a way of driving all competition out. Not only that, the Debt Reduction Herald has learned from a source (who preferred to remain anonymous) that they have been employing illegal immigrants as to further lower labor costs. Tearing the heart out of our community one debt reduction program at a time, KillaDebt has made a mockery of this once-great town.
However, it should be noted that with KillaDebt interest rates have gotten lower than ever. Is it worth it to for the low prices and general conveniences to sell out to the corporate mogul? Debt elimination services are a hard issue to decide on. You don't want to put yourself further in debt by paying back high mom and pop interest rates. However, you are just a number with KillaDebt Co., but with the low interest rates they offer, you can get out of debt faster and easier. Check back next week when we publish our credit card debt elimination services survey where we here from you where your priorities lie.
Part Two of the Debt Reduction Herald's 15-part investigative series into KillaDebt stores will be published in tomorrow's edition of the newspaper. Do you have your copy? Are these debt reduction services as negative as you think? Find out.
